Drifting in the St. Lawrence River

We did a deep drift dive around on a wall/slope at an island near Rockport. For the most part it was unspectacular, coming across several bottles and a few decent sized fish. One of the coolest parts of the dive was our deco stops took us around to the side of the island with sheer walls rising out of the water. It was a pretty awesome sight to surface to.

We were kinda hoping to come across some larger fish or schools. A few years back a buddy did a drift on the river and had some exciting fish stories to tell afterwards.
